• <br />REGULAR <br />9:30 obldck A. M. <br />/s/ Freda G. Noble <br />Freda G. Nob le, City Clerk <br />This resolution was approved and signed by me on the 29th day of April, 1958, at the hour of 9:35 o'clock <br />A. M. <br />/s/ Edward F. Voorde <br />Edward F. Voorde, Mayor of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion for adoption of the Resolution. Councilman Kroll seconded the Motion. Motion <br />carried. Resolution adopted. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion that an investigation be made by the Board of Public Works and safety and report <br />back to the Council, concerning the condition of the Railroad Crossings of the New York Central System and the <br />New Jersey Railroad and others who have crossings here in the City. Mr. Tellson especially mentioned the Leer <br />Stteet and Twyckenham Drive crossings and the crossings at Kemble, Kenaall and Chapin. .Councilman Muszynski seco <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Glass asked about the law requiring obtaining moving permits. Mr. Smith answered the question by asking <br />Mr. Glass to refer to Chapter 31, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc., of the Municipal Code Book and explained the <br />penalties involved. Councilman Glass made a motion that the matter be referred to the Ordinance Committee. <br />Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried and the matter was referred to the Ordinance Committee <br />composed of Councilmen Carr, Hahn and Korpal. <br />There being no further business to.'come'befare the Council, Councilman Hahn made a motion to adjourn. Councilman <br />Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Regular Meeting of the Common Council adjourned at 9 :23 P.M. <br />ATTEST: APPROVED: <br />CLERK / PRESIDENT <br />
