Gentlemen:
March 24, 1958
Refering to the directive dated March 10, 1958 from the Common Council pertaining to the removal of the bus from
Beacon Heights, I wish to submit the following:
A meeting was held between Mr. Anderson, Superintendent of Transportation for Northern Indiana Transit Company, and
myself pertaining to this problem. Mr. Anderson stated that statistics show that fewer people are riding the
buses on Saturday over this route necessitating the drastic cuts. This change was made in August, 1957. He assured
me that if they find that the passengers would increase, they would be more than happy to return this bus.
Thanking you, I remain
Sincerely,
