COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING: FEBRUARY 24, 1958 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the 4naeG }' She <br />Council Chambers, Monday, February 24, 1958, at 8 :13 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Carr. In the <br />absence of Councilman Carr, Chairman, Councilman Hahn presided. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. Mr. F. Gerard Feeney, Attorney <br />for Blenke Brothers spoke in favor of the Ordinance. Mr. D. D. Goheen, Attorney, representing the residents of the <br />area, spoke against the Ordinance. <br />Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Korpal made a motion to adjourn. <br />Councilman Kroll seconded the motion.
