COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING FEBRUARY 10, 1958 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the Whole in the Council Chambers, Monday, February 10, 1958, at 8 :19 P.M., with all members present except Councilmen Carr and Erler. In the absence of Councilman Carr, Chairman, Councilman Hahn presided. AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FROM CITY PLAN COMMISSION ACCOUNT NO. 12 - TEMPORARY HELP, $475.00 TO CITY PLAN COMMISSION ACCOUNT NO. 11 - SERVICES PERSONAL, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1958 OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY, Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. Remonstrating against the passage of the Ordinance was Miss Virginia Guthrie, Executive Secretary of the Civic Planning Association. City Attorney. Irving J.. Smith explained the Ordinance. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Kroll made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried and the Committee of the Whole meeting adjourned at 8:26 P.M.
