2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6, <br />7. <br />8. <br />9. <br />10. <br />11. <br />ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING JANUARY 4, 1971 <br />To enlarge the City in an orderly and well planned manner through annexation. <br />To re- codify the Municipal Code Book. <br />To continue our involvement in our on -going drive to reduce crime in our city. <br />To increase our involvement in the problemsof drug abuse as they pertain to our City. <br />To revise and update local ordinances to include council procedures. <br />To encourage Civil City Government use of local citizen expertise as consultants in their <br />field of skill - benefiting the City and increasing citizen involvement in government. <br />To continue to be responsive to the needs of a growing community through proper legislation. <br />To work more closely with the Model Neighborhood Planning Agency. <br />To review Utility Department financial operations. <br />Consider economies within Civil City Government by merging functions of departments that <br />overlap in duties. <br />There being no further business to come before the Common Council, Mayor Allen entertained a <br />motion to adjourn.
