11 REGULAR MEETING (continued) OCTOBER 28 1968 PETITION (continued) 1. The property sought to be rezoned is located at approximately 330 feet West of the center line of Ironwood Drive, and approximately 212 feet North of the center line of Edison Road, being a rectangular tract 262.5 feet East and West, and 448 feet North and South, all in the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, and being approximately 2.8 acres in size. 2. The property is owned by Frances H. Buzby. 3. A legal description of the property is as follows: Beginning at a point (330) feet West and 172 feet North of the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 38 North, Range 3 East; thence North 448 feet, more or less; thence West (262.5) feet to the East line of Rosemary Lane; thence South along said East line of Rosemary Lane (448) feet more or less, to a point (212) feet North of the South line of the said Southeast Quarter; thenee East parallel with the said South line of the said Southeast quarter (262.5) feet to the place of beginning. Also known as Lots 3,4,5,6, and 7 of Buzby's proposed First Addition. 4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned: From A Residential Use and A Height and Area District To B Residential Use and A Height and Area District 5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and the following building will be constructed: Three multiple family apartment dwelling units, with appropriate parking and landscaping. 6. Number of off street parking spaces to be provided: Eighty -nine (89) 7. Attached is a copy of: a.) an existing plot plan showing my property and other surrounding "properties; b.) names and addresses of all the individuals, firms or corporations owning property within 300 feet of the property sought to be rezoned; c.) site development plan. /s/ Frances H. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT Q -262, MEDICAL, SURGICAL AND DENTAL" IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND." Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ William W. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND WORTHINGTON CORPORATION, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, FOR LABOR AND PARTS NECESSARY TO REPAIR A MODEL 42MC -1 WORTHINGTON PUMP IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $5,554.87."
