COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING (continued) SEPTEMBER 23, 1968 <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br />TO ACCOUNT P -361, "PHOTO SUPPLIES" IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $1,000.00, AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID <br />SUM FROM ACCOUNT P -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" IN <br />THE SOUTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING <br />WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking for the Ordinance was Chief Thomas H. McNaughton, who <br />said the appropriation was needed because the use of their Zerox machine has doubled since moving into the <br />Municipal Services Facility. Councilman Reinke made a motion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. <br />Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Councilman William W. Grounds welcomed members of the Junior League attending the meeting. <br />There being no further businees before-the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Wise made a motion to rise and <br />report to the Council.
