REGULAR MEETING JUNE 10, 1968 <br />REPORT OF CCHMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To.the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN <br />AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA." (411 Sommers St.) <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the <br />Council as favorable. <br />/s/ William W. Grounds <br />There being no objections, the report was accepted as read, and placed on file. <br />REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT <br />P -213, "TRAVEL EXPENSE ", IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT P -11, <br />"SERVICES PERSONAL ", IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND ". <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the <br />Council as favorable. <br />/s/ William W. Grounds <br />There being no objections, the report was accepted as read, and placed on file. <br />REPORT OF AREA PLAN COMMISSION <br />June 5, 1968 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />Under date of June 3, 1968 the Area Plan Commission held a legally advertised public hearing on a revised <br />site development plan for the rezoning request of Charles Coussens, et al. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the <br />revised site plan be recommended favorably to the Common Council provided: <br />1. The street shall be moved 20 feet to the east and the planting screen <br />extended south to Corby Blvd. The 20 feet shall be removed from the <br />recreation area. <br />2. All two story buildings shall be moved to the interior of the <br />project. <br />Excerpts from the minutes of the meeting are hereby attached and made a part of this report. <br />Very truly yours, <br />John K.
