REGULAR MEETING JUNE 10, 1968 REPORT OF CCHMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To.the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA." (411 Sommers St.) Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ William W. Grounds There being no objections, the report was accepted as read, and placed on file. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT P -213, "TRAVEL EXPENSE ", IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT P -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ William W. REPORT OF CCMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT Z -13, "OTHER COMPENSATION" IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,182.29 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAME FROM ACCOUNT Z -531, "PENSIONS TO RETIRED POLICEMEN ", ALL IN THE POLICEMAN'S PENSION FUND. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ William W. REPORT OF AREA PLAN COMMISSION June 5, 1968 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: Under date of June 3, 1968 the Area Plan Commission held a legally advertised public hearing on a revised site development plan for the rezoning request of Charles Coussens, et al. The following action was taken: After due consideration it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the revised site plan be recommended favorably to the Common Council provided: 1. The street shall be moved 20 feet to the east and the planting screen extended south to Corby Blvd. The 20 feet shall be removed from the recreation area. 2. All two story buildings shall be moved to the interior of the project. Excerpts from the minutes of the meeting are hereby attached and made a part of this report. Very truly yours, John K.
