IHI REGULAR MEETING APRIL 22, 1968 REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN ACCOUNT P -37 "OTHER SUPPLIES11 OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT P -722, "MOTOR EQUIPMENT ", ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Fredrick D. Craven REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE AP:ENDING SECTION 40 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA, 1962, AS AMENDED, ALSO KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, i INDIANA, AS AMENDED ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Fredrick D. REPORT OF AREA PLAN COMMISSION' April 18, 1968 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of Charles Coussena, et al, to rezone the property in the 2900 block of Corby Blvd. from "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District was legally advertised under date of April 6 and 13 and given public hearing on April 16, 1968. The following action was taken: After due consideration it was moved, seconded and carried that the ordinance and site development plan be recommended favorably to the Common Council with the condition that the screening be composed of 3 -4 foot high evergreens. Attached hereto and made a part of this report are the minutes of the meeting as they pertain to this petition. Very truly yours, /s/ John K.
