COMMITTEE:.OF THE WHOLE JANUARY 22, 1968 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Committee of the <br />Whole in the Council Chambers of City Hall on Monday, January 22, 1968 at 8:00 P.M., with all members <br />present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman William W. Grounds, who presided. Chairman Grounds <br />introduced Reverend Stephen Kalabanty of Memorial Presbytarian Church, who gave the invocation. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 3702 AS HERETOFORE AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED AND THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA CHAPTER 40, ET SEQ., <br />AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON <br />COUNCIL BY ORDINANCE NO. 4608. -63 (Location: 1323 N. Ironwood) <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above Ordinance, proponents and opponents <br />were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. Speaking in favor of the Ordinance was David Kessler, <br />owner of the property sought to be rezoned. Councilman Allen made a motion that the Ordinance go to the <br />Council as Favorable. Councilman Craven seconded the motion.. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Committee of the Whole, Chairman Grounds instructed the members <br />of the Committee to rise and report to the Council.
