<br />South side of Ireland Road 553.7 feet; thence South 300 feet; thence
<br />East on a line parallel to the South line of said Ireland Road 353.7
<br />feet; thence South, 420 feet, more or less, to a point due West and
<br />200 feet distant from the Northwest corner of Lot Numbered 15 in said
<br />Hawblitzel's Addition; thence East 200 feet to the Northwest corner of
<br />said Lot Numbered 15; thence North, 720 feet, more or less, to the
<br />place of beginning.in St. Joseph County, Indiana, containing 5.74 acres,
<br />more or less.
<br />4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned
<br />from "A" Residence Use and "A" Height and Area district to "C -2"
<br />Planned Shopping Center Use and "C" Height and Area District.
<br />5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and
<br />the following building(s) will be constructed (include number of dwelling
<br />units if residential): _
<br />A neighborhood shopping center of less than 100,000 square feet con-
<br />sisting of not more than 50,000 square feet of Gross Leasable Area of
<br />uses amongst those permitted by Sub - section 4A of Section 4 -B of the
<br />Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend.
<br />6. Number of off- street parking spaces to be provided: Not less than the
<br />number required by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend which
<br />will be determined at such time as the uses and Gross Leasable Area are
<br />finally determined.
<br />7. Attached is a copy of (a) an existing plot plan showing my property and
<br />other surrounding properties; (b) names and addresses of all the individuals,
<br />firms or corporations owning property within 300 feet of the property sought
<br />to be rezoned; (c) preliminary development plan.

<br />I(we), the undersigned, do hereby respectfully make application and petition the
<br />Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana, as hereinafter requested, and in support of this applica-
<br />tion, the following facts are shown:
<br />1. The property sought to be rezoned is located at 2530 Kenwood, South Bend,
<br />Indiana.
<br />2. The property is owned by Bert N. Marroni and John N. Marroni, d /b /a
<br />Marroni's Catering Service, also known as South Bend Vending.
<br />3. A legal description of the property is as follows:
<br />Lots Numbered Sixty -eight (68), Sixty -seven (67) and Sixty -six (66)
<br />as shown on the recorded Plat of Kaley's Subdivision of the Southeast
<br />part of the Southwest Quarter (4) of Section three (3), Township
<br />Thirty -seven (37) north, Range two (2) East, now within and a part
<br />of the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana,
<br />AND
<br />A lot or parcel of land sixteen (16) feet in width East and West,
<br />taken off of and from the entire length of the West side of Lot
<br />Numbered Sixty -five (65), as shown on the recorded Plat of Kaley's
<br />Subdivision of the Southeast part of the Southwest Quarter (�4,) of
<br />Section three (3), Township Thirty -seven (37) north, Range two (2)
<br />East, now within and a part of the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph
<br />County, Indiana.
<br />4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned
<br />from "B" Residential Use and "B" Height and Area District to "D" Light
<br />Industrial Use and "D" Height and Area District.
<br />5. It is proposed that the property will,be put to the following use and
<br />the following building(s) will be constructed (include number of dwelling
<br />units if residential):
<br />One 60' X 60' building to be constructed and affixed to existing
<br />building for use as storage space for presently operated vending
<br />business.
