REGULAR MEETING - RECONVENED (CONTINUED) Beginning at a point 40 feet north and 225 feet west of the southeast corner of the northeast one - fourth of section thirty (30), township thirty -seven (37) north, range three (3) east; thence northerly along a line parallel to the center line of Ironwood Road a distance of 205 feet; thence easterly along a line parallel to the center line of Ireland Road a distance of 175 feet; thence northerly along a line parallel to the center of Ironwood Road a distance of 175.42 feet; thence westerly a distance of 450 feet; thence northerly a distance of 420.42 feet; thence westerly a distance of 511.20 feet; thence southerly a distance of 420.42 feet; thence easterly a distance of 310.83 feet; thence southerly a distance of 380.42 feet; thence easterly along a line parallel to the center line of Ireland Road a distance of 475.37 feet to the point of beginning. Nohl and Betty Lueneburg further show that they own one hundred (100 %) percent of the above - described land and request that the Common Council of the City of South Bend adopt a special ordinance within sixty (60) days from the date that this Petition is filed, for the purpose of annexing said described land to the City of South Bend, Indiana. PETITION TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE (NORTHWEST CORNER OF IRELAND ROAD - IRONWOOD DRIVE INTERSECTION) We, the undersigned, do hereby respectfully make application and petition the Common Council of the City of South Bend to amend the Zoning Ordinance of said city as hereinafter requested, and in support of this application, the following facts are shown: 1. The property sought to be rezoned is located at the northwest corner of Ireland Road - Ironwood Drive intersection, in St. Joseph County, Indiana. 2. The property is owned by Nohl and Betty Lueneburg, 53282 Crestview Drive, South Bend, Indiana. 3. A legal description of the property is as follows: A part of the northeast quarter of section number thirty (30), in township number thirty -seven (37) north, range three (3) east, des- cribed as follows, viz: Beginning at a point 40 feet north and 225 feet west of the southeast corner of the northeast one - fourth of section thirty (30), township thirty -seven (37) north, range three (3) east; thence northerly along a line parallel to the center line of Ironwood Road a distance of 205 feet; thence easterly along a line parallel to the center line of Ireland Road a distance of 175 feet; thence northerly along a line parallel to the center of Ironwood Road a distance of 175.42 feet; thence westerly a distance of 450 feet; thence northerly a distance of 420.42 feet; thence westerly a distance of 511.20 feet; thence southerly a distance of 420.42 feet; thence easterly a distance of 310.83 feet; thence southerly a distance of 380.42 feet; thence easterly along a line parallel to the center line of Ireland Road a distance of 475.37 feet to the point of beginning. 4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned from presently county land to "C" Commercial Use. 5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and the following building(s) will be constructed: The intended proposed use of the property is for a convenience shopping area with an area for business offices. 6.
