NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR YEAR OCT. 1, 1972 TO SEPT. 30, 1973 - Dated Sept. 15, 1972
Binder No. 17 - Filed in the City Clerk's Office September 20, 1972.
A public hearing was held on the resolution at this time. Mr. Lloyd Taylor, Executive Director
of the Redevelopment Department, explained that the Neighborhood Development Program came into
existence a few years ago to replace certain Urban Renewal programs which were not working at
that time. The application was submitted previously and was not funded by HUD and their
office in Indianapolis asked us "to re- submit the application in August of this year. The appli-
cation has been revised slightly and the area includes all of the model neighborhood area and
all of the southeast neighborhood area and the present northeast code enforcement project.
