REGULAR MEETING <br />- FEBRUARY 2 8 <br />1977 <br />_ .._. <br />REGULAR MEETING RECONVENED (CONTINUED) <br />BILL NO. 31 -77 A BILL APPROPRIATING $54,846.00 FROM THE ANTI- <br />RECESSION FUND, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS COUNTER - <br />CYCLICAL GRANT, FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE PRO - <br />GRAMS,, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION <br />AND FINANCE. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Kopczynski made a motion to refer this bill to <br />the Personnel and Finance Committee and set it for public hearing and second reading March 28, <br />1977, seconded by Council Member Dombrowski. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 32 -77 <br />A BILL FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE <br />GENERAL PARK FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000.00 <br />TO ACCOUNT NUMBER 722.0 PROPERTIES, MOTOR <br />EQUIPMENT. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Kopczynski made a motion to <br />this bill for _�_ to .set <br />public hearing and second reading March 14, 1977, seconded by Council Member Adams.!, <br />The motion carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Mrs. Jane Swan, 2022 Swygart, indicated she was very pleased with the controlled use ordinance. <br />Mr. Al Langel, 4403 Huron Circle, spoke regarding establishing an agency for victims of crime. <br />He indicated he had received a letter from Congressman Brademas. The motion carried. t1 <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, Council Member <br />Serge made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Adams.
