East Res. <br />* Funds are subject to the City Controller's determination of availability; if funds are unavailable, as solely determined by the City Controller, <br />then the authorization of the expenditure of such funds shall be void and of no effect. <br /> <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />This request is for $300,000 to complete the remaining design services for the Howard Park Bandshell <br />project. <br /> <br />SPECIFICS: <br /> <br />The $300,000 requested will support the full design of the Howard Park Bandshell, a state-of-the-art <br />covered, open-air performance venue intended to attract regional visitors through diverse music, <br />entertainment, and theatrical programming. <br /> <br />Since the initial $250,000 design funding approval by the Redevelopment Commission (RDC) in March <br />2026, the City has secured an additional $3 million in READI grant funding and $250,000 through the <br />TCIF grant program.
