Hammond-Nash, Director <br />Enclosed please find an Ordinance proposed for introduction before the Common Coun- <br />cil. The purpose is to designate the The Old Axtell House at 1021 Portage Avenue, South Bend, <br />a Local Historic Landmark. <br />The Historic Preservation Commission voted last year to recommend historic designa- <br />tion.
