Temporarily remove window sashes. <br />Laminate trough/well with .027 aluminum coil stock. Mist <br />defective paint with water to the point of saturation. Wet scrape <br />all exposed paint on jambs and troughs. Wash with detergent <br />solution, rinse, allow to dry and HEPA vacuum all visible paint <br />chips, dust, and debris. <br />All exposed jamb paint must be stabilized and painted. <br />Window Trough - Window 25 <br />9451 1.00 EAWOOD REPLACEMENT SASH - HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />REQUIRED <br />________________ <br />After establishing any required floor containment with <br />polyethylene sheeting, wet mist, remove, wrap in polyethylene <br />sheeting and dispose of sash, parting bead and interior stops. <br />Strip paint from jambs and interior stool/sill moldings with a heat <br />gun or chemical or caustic stripper. Mist any remaining <br />defective paint with water to the point of saturation. Wet scrape <br />interior and exterior trim. Detergent wash, rinse, allow to dry <br />and HEPA vacuum any paint chips, dust and debris. Prime and <br />top coat jamb with premium acrylic latex. Install custom-made <br />wood replacement sashes with matching muntin pattern, double <br />glazing, parting bead & interior stops. Repair & adjust window <br />weights & hardware for smooth operation. Prime and paint <br />sashes with premium acrylic latex and clean glass. <br />Window Casing, Sash and Trough - Window 32 <br />LBPSCPT 19.00 SFSCRAPE AND PAINT - TRIM ________________ <br />After establishing any required floor containment with <br />polyethylene sheeting, mist defective paint area with water to <br />the point of saturation. <br />Repair substrate as necessary to ensure proper adhesion and <br />performance and aggressively scrape all loose paint with a <br />scraper. Feather edges with a wet, 100-grit, sponge sanding <br />block. Detergent wash, rinse, allow to dry, and HEPA vacuum <br />all visible chips. Prime, caulk seams and top coat with premium <br />acrylic latex per manufacturer's instructions. <br />Components contain deteriorated lead-based paint. <br />Containment Required per 24 CFR 35.1345. <br />Baseboards - A, B, C, D <br />Door Casing - To Room 10 <br />Trade: 219 Lead Abatement <br />LBPD05 1.00 EAINT-DOOR - HISTORIC ________________ <br />Remove, package, dispose of door components as listed, <br />replace with like door components.
