Bert Liss, 1443 W. Washington, spoke regarding "gypsy" cab services <br />operating at the airport. He indicated that the airport directors <br />have frozen Yellow Cab Co., out of business at the airport. He indicated <br />his attorney is researching a possible lawsuit against a Roseland <br />firm. Walter Jones, 1608 N. Sheridan, indicated that his Roseland Cab <br />Company has met all the requirements of the City ordinance on taxi <br />cabs. The Council asked Kathy Cekanski, Council Attorney, to invesitage <br />the situation, and to attend a public hearing on the issue to come <br />before the Board of Public Works. <br />There being no further business to <br />or new, Council Member Taylor made <br />Council Member Serge.
