Any member on leave for medical reasons must submit to periodic medical <br />examinations at the request of the Board or the Chief of his/her department. <br />B. Any member requesting a leave of absence for medical reasons under this policy must <br />sign a form authorizing his/her treating physician(s) and health care provider(s) to release medical <br />information to the City. <br />C. If, after a leave of absence has been granted, the Chief advises the Board that the <br />member has not complied with the department's Return to Duty Policy, the Board may reconsider <br />and alter the pay or leave status of the member. <br />D.
