The motion carried. <br />Council Member Beck made a motion to set Bill No. 31 -82 for public hearing and second <br />reading May 10, seconded by Council Member Voorde. The motion carried. <br />Council Member Beck made a motion to set Bill No. 32 -82 and 33 -82 for public hearing <br />and second reading June 14, seconded by Council Member Dombrowski. The motion car - <br />ried. <br />Council Member Beck made a motion to set Bill No. 2 -82 for public hearing and second <br />ji reading May 10, 1982, seconded by Council Member Dombrowski. The motion carried. <br />I� <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Brother William Mewes, University of Notre Dame, asked the Council to pass a resolu- <br />tion on a nuclear weapon freeze. He indicated that the sixty -one cities have en- <br />dorsed this freeze. Thomas Broden, 201 W. North Shore, and William McGlinn, 121 E. <br />North Shore, described the holocaust that would result in a nuclear war. <br />Kathryn Brookins, 701 W. LaSalle, spoke against granting an extension to the repay - <br />ment of the First Source Bank's economic development loan. <br />Helen Arnold, 1720 E. Howard; Lester Bill, 1015 White Oak; Virginia Marrow, 1020 E. <br />Irvington; Caroline Domingo, 804 Park Ave.; Mary Craypo, 1901 Dorwood; Dennis Goulet, <br />825 Ashland'; Stephen Luecke, 754 Leland; Phillip Wagner, 3102 Rue Renoir; Gary Forbes, <br />1701 E. Wayne spoke in support of a resolution on a nuclear freeze. Mayor Parent <br />spoke in support of a resolution on a nuclear freeze. John Swanson, 1722 N. Olive; <br />Phil Raymond, 53105 N.Ironwood; Paul Wedel, 1337 Belmont; Phil Corbett 1130 W. Thomas; <br />Floyd Carter, 1619 Fassnacht; spoke in support of a nuclear freeze resolution. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council unfinished or new, Council <br />Member Dombrowski made a motion to adjourn, s1APROVED.- ed by Council Member Beck.
