<br />South Bend Animal Care and Control Special Committee <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Wednesday, June 12, 2013 <br />5:30 pm <br />Presiding: Valerie Schey, Chairperson <br /> <br /> <br />Members present: Valerie Schey, Becky Kaiser, Kelly Pickell, Dr. Mariah Covey, Co <br />Davis, Linda Candler, Pam Wesolowski, and Aaron Blight <br /> <br />Others present: Ann-Carol Nash, Anne Reel,Kelly Adelsperger, Jan Caudell, Pat Herod, William <br />Sykes, Carey Wells, Cecil Eastman, Gabrielle Thompson, Lois Myers, Patricia Trinka, Fred Kray (via <br />speakerphone) <br /> <br />Summary: <br />1.Provided summary of our last meeting: <br />We reviewed definitions needing further clarification <br />We examined Indiana Code 35-46-3 pertaining to dog fighting. City Attorney, Ann-Carol Nash <br />provided us with a legal opinion on this issue. <br />We added Colony, Colony caretaker, Free Roaming Cat and Managed <br />We will be examining pending Indianapolis legislation on communifor additional <br />direction on this matter. <br />2.Discussed why were doing what were doing.
