V c/7$ -? g <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5988 -76 <br />COMMONLY KNOWN AS CHAPTER 16, ARTICLE 2, <br />SECTION 16 -6 "GARBAGE AND TRASH COLLECTION: <br />CITY FEES, MANNER OF COLLECTION: PRIVATE <br />PARTY RESPONSIBILITY" OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />The purpose of this Ordinance is to raise the garbage and <br />trash collection fees charged by the City for the collection and <br />disposal of garbage and trash from one - family dwellings. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That Chapter 16, Article 2, Section 16 -6, Sub- <br />section C, (1) & (2) are hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1. One family dwelling with no limit on number of <br />bags and bundles: Thpee de -lTa -pe &Rd F4:f -ty <br />eents 4$3 -'�84 pep month-. Four dollars and <br />Fifty cents ($4.50) per month. <br />2. One family dwelling where the head of the <br />household has submitted to the Board of Public <br />Works proof of age sixty -five (65) or over: <br />Tate dellaps 42 -8S4 pep Faenth- Two dollars <br />and Fifty cents ($2.50) per month. <br />SECTION II.
