ORDINANCE NO. & V) q ! ) S <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,500.00 FROM THE <br />JUNK VEHICLE FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, FOR SECURITY FENCING FOR TOWED VEHICLES <br />TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINIS- <br />TRATION AND FINANCE. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Funds are needed to erect a security fence around the towed <br />vehicle storage area at the Olive Street Pumping Station. At <br />present, there is inadequate security for stored vehicles and <br />vandalism is a problem. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $4,500.00 is hereby appropriated for <br />the year 1978, from the Junk Vehicle Fund of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana. This appropriation is to be administered by the <br />Department of Administration and Finance and will be distributed <br />as set forth below: <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />260.0 Other Contractuals $4,500.00 <br />Total $4,500.00 <br />SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the <br />Mayor, and fulfillment of all statutory requirements for emergency <br />appropriations. <br />FIRD IN WI, OFFICE <br />
