ORDINANCE NO. �6ggg.-)y <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $50,000.00 <br />FROM ACCOUNT 110.0, SALARIES AND WAGES, REGULAR, <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $1:0,000.00, AND ACCOUNT 120.0, <br />SALARIES AND WAGES, TEMPORARY, IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$40,000.00, TO ACCOUNT4"30 0, REPAIR PARTS <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000.00, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING <br />WITHIN THE BUREAU OF STREETS BUDGET OF THE MOTOR <br />VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In that certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adop- <br />tion of the existing budget for the Bureau of Streets in the Motor Vehicle <br />Highway Fund, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was <br />appropriated in the original budget for the various functions of City Govern- <br />ment to meet such extraordinary conditions; and <br />In that additional funds are needed for an account within the Bureau of <br />Streets, in the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, to assure that Department's <br />ability to properly perform its function; and <br />In that a surplus exists in other accounts of the Bureau of Streets Budget, <br />in the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, which is not presently needed, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the sum of $60,000.00 be transferred between various <br />accounts as set forth below: <br />REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNTS <br />Account No. Description Amount <br />110.0 Salaries and Wages, Regular $10,00.0: -00 <br />120.0 Salaries and Wages, Temporary X0.,000 -. -00 <br />TOTAL REDUCTION $50,000.00 <br />INCREASE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT <br />
