AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $1,687.89 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING FUND TO THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT FUND.FOR ABSHIRE AND BERKSHIRE DRIVES IN CREST MANOR, SECTION 2. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: Certain Barrett Law sewer projects have been constructed in accordance with bids and Resolutions_ submitted to and approved by the Board of Public Works. The City of South Bend has been assessed the sum of $1,687.89 for sanitary sewers on Abshire and Berkshire Drives in Crest Manor, Section 2, and funds are needed for payment of this assessment. The Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund has been established and can legally incur this cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: That the sum of $1,687.89 be appropriated from the Cumu- lative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund to the General Improvement Fund for costs as set forth below: Sanitary Sewers on Abshire and Berkshire Drives in Crest Manor, Section 2 $1,687.89 SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and the ful- fillment of all statutory requirements.
