ORDINANCE NO. (o 14y-7 - 79 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $11,225.00 <br />FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITH- <br />IN THE PARKING METER FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In that certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br />since the adoption of the existing budget for the Parking Meter Bureau, <br />it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in <br />the original budget for various functions of the Parking Meter Bureau. <br />to meet such extraordinary conditions; and <br />In that additional funds are needed for various accounts <br />within the Parking Meter Bureau to assure the Department's ability to <br />properly perform its functions; and in that a surplus exists in other <br />various accounts of said Department's budget which is not presently <br />needed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $11,225.00 be transferred <br />between various accounts as set forth= below: <br />REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNTS <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />110.0 Salaries and Wages $5,225.00 <br />722.0 Motor Equipment 6,000.00 <br />TOTAL REDUCTION $11,225.00 <br />INCREASE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT <br />655.0 Parking Sinking Fund $11,225.00 <br />TOTAL ACCOUNT INCREASE $11,225.00 <br />SECTION II.
