HEALTH & PUBLIC SAFETY May 29, 2013 3:52 P.M. <br />Committee Members Present: Dr. David Varner, Tim Scott <br />Other Council Present: Henry Davis Jr., Oliver Davis, Valerie Schey, Gavin Ferlic, Derek Dieter <br />Others Present: Gregorio Chavez, Kyle Chamberlin, Mike Mecham <br />Agenda: Bill No. 09 -13 Chronic Problem Properties <br />Bill No. 22 -13 Honey Bee Keeping <br />Dr. David Varner, filling in for Chairperson Karen White made a series of announcements concerning the <br />items posted on the agenda. <br />First bill 09 -13 dealing, with chronic problem properties would be continued until the meeting on June <br />10, 2013. Also the Residential Neighborhoods Committee would hold a meeting at the Centre Township <br />Library at 6:30 P.M. Monday, June 3, 2013 to hear from residents on the Southside, the Miami Hills <br />Apartments area in particular. At the last Mayor's Night Out in the 51h and 6th district residents had <br />complained about shootings and crime in the area around the apartments. <br />Lastly, Dr. Varner announced that bill 22 -13 addressing honey bee keeping in the city was to be <br />continued until June 24, 2013. <br />Dr. David Varner adjourned at 3:56 P.M. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Dr. David Varner <br />Health & Public Safety Committee <br />
