<br />No. 154 is a Revenue Sharing appropriation for building structure repair to the 
<br />Morris Civic Theatre: Bill No. 155 is an appropriation to the Self- Insurance 
<br />Budget, due to an increase in insurance premiums, claims settled and a fire loss 
<br />currently in litigation: Bill No. 159 is an appropriation to cover unanticipated 
<br />costs of towing and snow removal during 1985. Council Member Beck made a motion to 
<br />recommend Bill No. 143 to the Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Taylor. 
<br />The motion carried. Council Member Taylor made a motion to recommend this bill to 
<br />the Council favorable, as amended, seconded by Council Member Braboy. The motion 
<br />carried. Council Member Puzzello made a motion to recommend Bill No. 148 to the 
<br />Council favorable, as amended, seconded by Council Member Taylor. The motion

<br />A BILL APPROPRIATING $3,164,744.00 FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 
<br />BLOCK GRANT FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE 
<br />DIVISION.OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, 
<br />INDIANA, AND DESIGNATED SUBGRANTEE AGENCIES FOR THE PROGRAM YEAR 
<br />BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1986 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1986 TO BE 
<br />ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. 
<br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above bill, proponents 
<br />and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. Don Inks, Director of 
<br />Community Development, made the presentation for the bills. He indicated Bill No. 
<br />145 was a reprogramming of funds from 1984 and 1985 to 1986. He indicated the 1984 
<br />and 1985 activities have been completed or cannot be completed thus making funds 
<br />available for 1986. He indicated that Bill No. 147 was the an appropriation of 
<br />funds for the City's 1986 Community Development Block Grant Application. Council 
<br />Member Beck made a motion to recommend Bill No. 145 to the Council favorable, 
<br />seconded by Council Member Puzzello. The motion carried. Council Member Beck made 
<br />a motion to recommend Bill No. 147 to the Council favorable, seconded by Council 
<br />Member Taylor. The motion carried.

<br />A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 
<br />AMENDING SECTION 17 -33 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF SOUTH BEND, 
<br />INDIANA 
<br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above bill, proponents 
<br />and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. John Leszczynski, Director of 
<br />Public Works, made the presentation for the bill. He indicated certain language was 
<br />inadvertently omitted from Ordinance No. 7515 -85 when it was passed by the Council. 
<br />He indicated this bill would amend Ordinance No. 7515 to include the language. 
<br />Council Member Beck made a motion to recommend this bill to the Council favorable, 
<br />seconded by Council Member Taylor. The motion carried.

<br />MAINTENANCE FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING UNANTICIPATED COSTS

<br />be amended in the title to reflect the account no. 394.4. Council Member Beck made
