3 <br />B ?: <br />ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING <br />JANUARY 7, 19w- <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend met in the <br />Council Chambers of the County -City Building on Monday, January 7, at 12 noon. The <br />meeting was called to order and the Pledge to the Flag was given. <br />ROLL CALL Present: Council Members Serge, Braboy, Puzzello, <br />Taylor, Zakrzewski, Crone, Paszek; Voorde_ and <br />Beck Beck <br />Absent: None <br />Council Member Taylor made a motion to have City Clerk, Irene Gammon, chair the <br />meeting, seconded by Council Member Serge. The motion carried. <br />Council Member Taylor made a motion to nominate Beverlie Beck for president, <br />seconded by Council Member Braboy. Council Member Taylor moved the nominations be <br />closed, seconded by Council Member Braboy. The motion carried. Council Member Beck <br />was elected on a vote of seven ayes and two nays (Council Members Crone and Voorde.) <br />Council Member Serge made a motion to nominate Eugenia Braboy as vice present, <br />seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski. Council Member Taylor made a motion that the <br />nominations be closed, seconded by Council Member Serge. The motion carried. <br />Council Member Braboy was elected on a roll call vote of seven ayes and two nays <br />(Council Members Crone and Voorde.) <br />Council Member Puzzello made a motion to nominate Joseph Serge as Chairman of the <br />Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Paszek. Council Member Taylor <br />made a motion to close nominations, seconded by Council Member Braboy. The motion <br />carried.
