The existing detached garage will be fully demolished. <br />This project will preserve original exterior materials where feasible. New materials will match or <br />complement the historic character. The existing front door will be reused and relocated in the new east <br />addition. All existing windows and doors are proposed to be replaced with metal-clad units that are <br />similar in appearance and size to the original openings. All new construction will not exceed existing <br />building heights. <br />Interior renovations are planned to update and improve the functionality of the owners while preserving <br />the historic character. <br />A new three-car carriage house is to reside on the adjacent lot. Existing curb cuts will remain and will tie <br />into the new construction.
