ORDINANCE NO. GSIy-*) V AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $1,120.00. FROM ACCOUNT NO. 130.0, EXTRA AND OVERTIME, TO ACCOUNT NO. 440.0, OTHER MATERIALS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,120.00, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE BUREAU OF TRAFFIC AND LIGHTING BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In that certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing budget for the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting in the General Fund, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the original budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and In that additional funds are needed for an account within the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, in the General Fund, to assure that Department's ability to properly perform its function; and in that a surplus exists in another account of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting budget, in the General Fund, which is not presently needed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: That the sum of $1,120.00 be transferred between various accounts as set forth below: REDUCE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT ACCOUNT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 130.0 Extra and Overtime $1,120.00 INCREASE THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT ACCOUNT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 440.0 Other Materials $1,120.00 SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
