The historic Water Street Bridge in South Bend, Indiana, built in 1885 (top photo) was <br />relocated in 1906 from its original location on Water Street (now LaSalle Street) to its <br />current site on Darden Road, where it crosses the St. Joseph River. Bottom photo is the <br />Lasalle Street Bridge. <br /> <br />Kotz Wagon & Smiths address was 236 N. Michigan Street in 1883 and relocated to 210 N. <br />Michigan Street according to business records in 1894. Their wagon business flourished <br />locally with the rise of the industrial revolution building custom wagons for the wealthy, and <br />was mentioned in the South Bend Tribune as an option to the wagon production giants <br />Studebaker and Birdsell. <br />Kotz Wagon & Smiths location at the corner of Michigan and Water Street Bridge.
