C �J- "If AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $14,240.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR THE 1979 ETHNIC FESTIVAL, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The Common Council of the City of South Bend recognizes the importance of ethnic groups in the history of the community and wishes to encourage the promotion of the community's ethnic heritage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THIS CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I.
