Tnmmittrr 14 'part <br />coo toe Tomnwn (Iounrd of tot ktity of OLW4 crud: <br />Your Committee OF THE WHOLE <br />to whom was referred <br />A BILL AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE 5, SECTION 7 -76, <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE SCRAP AND JUNK DEALERS <br />ORDINANCE, BY REQUIRING THAT THE FENCING OF SCRAP <br />AND JUNK YARDS BE CONSTRUCTED OF SOLID OR OPAQUE <br />MATERIAL, BY PROHIBITING THE PILING OF SCRAP OR <br />JUNK ABOVE THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCING, AND BY <br />AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS TO ADOPT <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS. <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion THIS BILL BE RECOMMENDED TO <br />THE COUNCIL FAVORABLE, AS AMENDED: <br />Accepted bill favorable to Public Works Committee <br />Amended this bill in Section I, (3) Buffer Strip <br />by changing lot lines to property lines. <br />Accepted amendment supplementing Public Works Committee <br />amended this bill in Section IV (a) at end of paragraph <br />after resolution change to read "at its next regularly <br />scheduled meeting." <br />Public Works Bill and supplement amending bill are <br />attached. <br />FRANK HORVATH <br />Chairman <br />FREE PRESS PUBLISHING CO. <br />
