Bill No. <br />ORDINANCE No. L 6,2 p - <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $95,000 FROM THE <br />FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, COMMONLY REFERRED <br />TO AS REVENUE SHARING, FOR THE PURCHASE OF DIESEL <br />FUEL AND GASOLINE, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF <br />ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Additional funds are needed to administer certain programs <br />and to ensure the City's ability to properly perform its functions <br />during the year 1979. Without these funds, the City would have <br />to curtail certain programs-. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $95,000 is hereby appropriated <br />for the year 1979 from Revenue Sharing. This appropriation is <br />to be administered by the Department of Administration and <br />Finance as set forth below: <br />PROGRAM FA 182 <br />GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />321.0 Gasoline $ 95,000 <br />TOTAL FA 182 $ 95,000 <br />SECTION II.
