(f) The holiday pay shall apply to holidays listed below and <br />no others: <br />New Year's Day Fourth of July <br />Lincoln's Birthday Labor Day <br />Washington's Birthday Columbus Day <br />Good Friday Veteran's Day <br />Easter Sunday Thanksgiving Day <br />Memorial Day Christmas <br />SECTION III. <br />The Common Council recommends as follows: <br />(a) The firefighters clothing allowance shall be $400.00 <br />per year. One -half of the clothing allowance shall be paid to <br />each firefighter by June 30, 1980, and the remaining one -half <br />shall be paid by December 31, 1980. <br />(b) That the Board of Public Safety, the Common Council, <br />and members from the South Bend Firefighters Association Local <br />362 of the International Association of Firefighters, work to- <br />gether to develop a Nomex safety clothing program within the <br />Fire Department. <br />SECTION IV. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />for the calendar year commencing January 1, 1980, and ending <br />December 31, 1980. <br />Passed, as amended, July 23, 1979 <br />
