( L p • 2 9 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR DEFREYING THE EXPENSE OF PROVIDING A FIRE WORKS DISPLAY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ETHNIC FESTIVAL. THIS APPROPRIATION WILL BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRA- TION AND FINANCE. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: WHEREAS, the Administration has decided considerable interest in the community in support fire works display in conjunction with the Ethnic Fourth of July. that there exists of providing a Festival and the NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $7,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1979 from the Federal Assistance Grant commonly referred to as Revenue Sharing. This appropriation will be administered by the Department of Administration and Finance and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 179 ETHNIC FESTIVAL FIRE WORKS DISPLAY Account Description Amount 260.0 Other Contractuals $ 7,000.00 TOTAL FA -179 $ 7,000.00 SECTION II.
