ORDINANCE NO. �5�7 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $122,400.00 FROM THE LOCAL <br />ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R & S 61, MICHIGAN <br />STREET -MAIN STREET CONNECTOR, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROADS <br />AND STREETS FUND. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands, to provide <br />the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, and to provide positive <br />control of storm drainage', certain improvements have been proposed <br />for the Michigan Street and Main Street Connector. <br />Additional funds are now needed to pay the cost of land acquisition, <br />engineering, and the cost of the construction of these improvements. <br />These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br />NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />SECTION I. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated and <br />ordered set apart out of the Local Road and Street Fund for the project <br />in the amount set forth below. <br />PROJECT NO.
