Your estimate is based off our company’s price book <br />using National Labor Standards. <br />Estimate of work is based on what can be reasonably viewed from consultation. Unforeseen issues may arise during the completion <br />of work. If an issue should arise Mr. Handyman will inform the client of the issue and possible solutions. Mr. Handyman and HM <br />Remodeling is not responsible for any underlying structural/ mechanical issues that may be uncovered as we work through the <br />project. Any additional work or change orders will be discussed with homeowner and review additional charges for approval. Mr. <br />Handyman and HM Remodeling offers a one year warranty on labor, unless otherwise specified on the invoice. <br />Client agrees that Mr. Handyman and HM Remodeling can take before and after pictures of work for documentation and display on <br />social media without customer's name. <br />Client agrees to pay the agreed upon rate immediately following the completion of the service for each day. <br />All payments are due at the end of each day unless other arrangements have been made prior to starting the job. If all payments are <br />not made upon completion of the job and payment is not tendered within 30 days, interest will accrue at the rate of 9% per month <br />from the date work was completed. If legal action needs to be pursued for the process of collection, the client agrees to pay all costs <br />and expense of collection, including reasonable attorney fees. Client agrees to pay a fee of $35.00 for any returned check. <br />Client acknowledges that all technicians are employees of Mr. Handyman and HM Remodeling and will not solicit or attempt to solicit <br />any employee of Mr. Handyman or HM Remodeling. In the event the client chooses to schedule additional service, all scheduling <br />takes place through the office. <br />Mr. Handyman and HM Remodeling is homeowner friendly, allowing our customers to purchase their own supplies and materials. <br />Upon customers request, Mr. Handyman or HM Remodeling will install homeowner supplied materials consistent with the <br />manufacturer’s guidelines. Materials, products, and/or supplies provided by the homeowner are not warranted by Mr. Handyman or <br />HM Remodeling. If the homeowner asks the Service Professional to proceed with installation against their professional judgement, <br />the installation is not warranted by Mr. Handyman or HM Remodeling. Unless otherwise specified, the cost of additional materials, <br />permits or fees, are the responsibility of the customer. Changes or repairs due to faulty or incorrect materials purchased by the <br />customer will result in additional charges. <br />Water Leak Disclaimer. While our work may resolve pre-existing water damage through a window, in some cases leaks may still <br />occur. We take great care to caulk and seal window frames to prevent water infiltration through or around the window unit. However, <br />water leaks may still be present due to some other cause. We shall not be responsible for investigating or resolving water leaks at <br />your premises. <br />Mr. Handyman and HM Remodeling will not be liable for any unknown, unforeseen, or pre-existing problems with the existing <br />plumbing or electrical systems. Any of these said issues that may arise, or are discovered, during the course of our work (that are not <br />described as being part of or specifically mentioned in the job scope above) which need to be addressed in order to proceed, will be <br />discussed and agreed upon before any repairs, replacement, or re-configurations of the system is completed. The client will be <br />notified of any such situations before any access openings are cut. <br />When water supply to an older home has been shut down for a period of time, it can cause the water supply lines to release rust and <br />scale debris into the water supply system when the system is re-pressurized. The potential severity of this is not something that can <br />be expected or anticipated. If fixtures become internally clogged with debris or will not properly shut off when the water supply <br />system is re-pressurized, Mr. Handyman or HM Remodeling will not accept liability for these repairs. During the water testing, if there <br />are any leaks or other problems with plumbing fixtures discovered, those issues will be brought to the attention of our site contact <br />and will result in additional charges to repair or replace. <br />We take great pride in your project and do our best to keep the job site clean. Some of the job types may produce more dust than <br />others. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. <br />Client has read and accepts the work agreement and has discussed with the Mr. Handyman or HM Remodeling technician the work <br />to be completed and authorizes Mr. Handyman or HM Remodeling to begin work. <br />I hereby acknowledge the satisfactory completion of the services performed as described.
