ORDINANCE NO. G&'7&-2q <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $13,000.00 TO ACCOUNT <br />722.0 MOTOR EQUIPMENT, FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />WHEREAS, budgetary restrictions mandated us to cut all <br />police vehicles from the regular City budget, and now that additional <br />revenue is available, we feel the Department would benefit through <br />the replacement of 3 vehicles. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $13,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the year for account 722.0, Motor Equipment, for the <br />Police Department budget within the General Fund of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, to be distributed as set forth below: <br />Account Description Amount <br />722.0 Motor Equipment $ 13,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
