AGENDA REVIEW SESSION <br />NOVEMEBR 6. 2025 219 <br />The Agenda Review Session of the Board of Public Works was convened at 10:35 a.m. on <br />November 6, 2025, by Board President Elizabeth A. Maradik, Vice President Joseph <br />Molnar, and Board Members Gary Gilot, Murray Miller, Breana Micou (absent), and Board <br />Attorney Michael Schmidt present. The Board of Public Works Clerk, Hillary R. Horvath, <br />presented the Board with a proposed agenda of items presented by the public and by City <br />Staff. <br />Board members discussed the following item(s) from the agenda. <br />OPENING OF PROPOSALS - EWING TRAIL - PROJECT NO. 125-063 <br />President Maradik asked about item 5.A: Opening of Proposals and what the opening was <br />for, design services. Leslie Biek stated this it is a federal aid project through MACOG for <br />the design services for the Ewing Trail from Gertrude St. to Olive St. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25-2025 <br />Mr. Gilot asked the Prime Borrowing Rate for Water/Sewer Installation Charge for 2026. <br />President Maradik stated it is a two percent (2%) increase <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-2025 <br />Mr. Gilot asked if the name change on the Wayne Street Garage to City Hall Garage also <br />changed it to being accessible to only city hall employees. Attorney Schmidt stated it is <br />still a public garage with a new name. Director Horvath stated there is still 2-hour free <br />parking and paid parking for Key Bank Building employees and stated the city has <br />contracts with those individuals. <br />LICENSES AND PERMITS <br />Mr. Gilot asked about item A.I. Encroachments/Revocable Permits and stated it is <br />understandable that the City does not want signs in the right-of-way but also suggested <br />the alternative of an Honorary Street Sign application.
