CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND ST. JOSEPH COUNTY HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />would be visible from the Leeper Park tennis courts, but Staff do not believe <br />this would have a detrimental impact on the district as a whole. Based on the <br />information provided prior to this public hearing, Staff make a FAVORABLE <br />RECOMMENDATION. <br />The applicant was represented by: <br />Antonio Bajuyo, 413 Lamonte Terrace <br />The public was represented by: <br />Randy Davis 710 Park Avenue, spoke in favor of this application: <br />Mr. Davis: "Tony did the drawing of the dining room for us. So I'm a fan of his <br />and a friend of his. But I will say this is a house that most people don't see <br />and and even when you're driving down Riverside, you really don't see it. <br />My opinion when you do see it. You're not impressed, you're not happy <br />with it. It's not a great looking thing. And I think what what Tony's <br />suggesting is attractive and it would be an addition to the neighborhood <br />as opposed to where it is now. So I'm a I'm a fan and I'm a supporter of it. <br />Thank you." <br />After due consideration the following action was taken: <br />Upon a motion by David Wyncott, seconded by Kathryn Hough, and carried <br />by vote, the Historic Preservation Commission APPROVES Certificate of <br />Appropriateness Application #2025-0902a <br />Roll was called. <br />Commissioner Hough: AYE <br />Commissioner DeKever: AYE <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko: NAY <br />Commissioner Skaggs: NAY <br />Commissioner Wyncott: AYE <br />Commissioner Andrews: AYE <br />Vote: 4-2.
