SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />ANNUAL ORGANIZATIONAL AND SPECIAL MEETING <br />January 15, 2003 1308 County-City Building <br />1:30 p.m. 227 West Jefferson Boulevard <br />Presiding: Ms. Carolyn Pfotenhauer South Bend, IN 46601 <br />The January 15, 2003 Annual Organizational and Special Meeting of the Redevelopment <br />Authority was called to order at 1:35 p.m. by its President, Carolyn Pfotenhauer. There was a <br />quorum present. <br />L 'ROLL CALL <br />Members Present: Ms. Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer, President <br />Mr. Cleo Washington, Vice-President <br />Mr. Jose Alvarez, Secretary <br />Redevelopment Staff: Mr. Owen Rock, Assistant Director <br />Ms. Jennifer Hughes, Economic Development Planner <br />Mrs. Jenny Hullinger, Recording Secretary <br />2. SWEARING IN OF AUTHORITY MEMBERS <br />Ms. Loretta Duda Ci Clerk, administered the oath of office to the following <br />tY <br />Authority members: Carolyn Pfotenhauer, Cleo Washington and Jose Alvarez. <br />3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />President <br />Ms. Pfotenhauer nominated Mr. Alvarez, and he declined. Mr. Alvarez nominated Mr. <br />Washington, and he declined. Mr. Washington nominated Ms. Pfotenhauer and she <br />accepted. Mr. Alvarez seconded the motion, and it was unanimously approved. Ms. <br />Pfotenhauer was elected President for 2003. <br />Vice-President <br />Mr. Alvarez nominated Mr. Washington, Ms. Pfotenhauer seconded the nomination and <br />the vote was unanimously carried. Mr. Washington was elected Vice-President for 2003. <br />Secretary <br />Mr. Washington nominated Mr. Alvarez, and Ms. Pfotenhauer seconded the nomination. <br />The motion was unanimously approved.
