(Check all that apply):Roofs <br />Contractor Information Millwood Roofing & Construction Main House Jack Reed, <br />MBA, Estimator <br />Contractor Phone Number (269) 269-3099 <br />Contractor Email jack@millwoodconstruction.com <br />Description of Proposed Work: <br />Project 1: At main house structure we request permission to tear off, repair decking as needed & replace <br />both the shingled areas of the roof & the large/highest flat membrane portion of the roof. Contractor will <br />install blocking on the outside edge of the roof structure to lift that edge to re-establish/increase gutter <br />drainage capacity. Structural settling over the years has decreased the gutter's edge resulting in <br />ineffective gutter function. Rainfall (even light and moderate ) cascades over the edges, damaging <br />structures and landscaping. Contractor will then re-line the internal gutter with new membrane (effectively <br />covering the installed edge-blocking) and re-install right-sized downspouts. On the front portico section in <br />par ticular, we are proposing adding K-style gutters along the portico roof and along the front of the house <br />to then tie-into the existing downspout at the SE & SW corners (alternatively at the shadow columns on the <br />house). K-style gutters may be a solution in other trouble areas. <br />Malarkey Vista in "Midnight Black" shingles will be used . These are an identical match to the carriage <br />house shingles. The carriage house also had K-style gutters and downspouts approved previously and <br />installed with that roofing project. **We would like to have a staff member visit and conduct additional <br />conversations with our contractor and us to finalize the details of our request.
