• The South Bend Redevelopment Authority <br />December 4, 2002 Meeting Minutes <br />is happening, but rather sending legal counsel forward to make a final <br />determination, and provide a general endorsement of the overall project by the <br />Authority. Mr. Alvarez said South Bend Chocolate's desire to expand shows their <br />business is going well and that is a plus for the downtown. Mr. Inks said that is <br />where the Commission has been on the issue. We have tried to stimulate retail in <br />the downtown and now we have a retail. operation that is doing well and wanting <br />to expand and we want to facilitate that. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Alvarez, seconded by Mr. Washington, the Authority <br />approved Resolution No. 148 approving the execution of a Resolution approving <br />the transfer of real property to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission and <br />other related matters associated with South Bend Chocolate Company Expansion <br />Project. <br />4.
