(o (oS-9 - 7,F _ <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL <br />ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAMS TO BE <br />ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS <br />DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE, <br />Statement of Purpose and Intent: <br />WHEREAS, the City administration recognizes that ACTION, <br />Inc. provides viable services to the disadvantaged of the City of <br />South Bend, and would like to support ACTION in its efforts by <br />helping to defray some of their expenses, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $5,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as the General <br />Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the <br />Department of Administration and Finance and will be distributed as <br />set forth below: <br />PROGRAM FA 188 <br />ACTION, Inc. <br />Account Amount <br />Services Contractual 260.0 $ 5,000.00 <br />TOTAL FA 188 $ 5,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
