(0(, ( -29 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $50,000.00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD <br />AND STREET FUND TO R & S 7907 - CHAPIN STREET CHANNELIZATION <br />IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In that certain unsafe conditions exist along Chapin Street within <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, and <br />In that certain improvements have been proposed to correct these <br />unsafe conditions; and <br />In that funds are now needed to pay engineering and construction <br />costs associated with these improvements, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I: That the sum of $50,000.00 be appropriated from the 1979 <br />Local Road and Street Fund to Project 7907 , as set forth below: <br />FUND 51 <br />LOCAL ROAD AND STREET <br />R & S 7907 <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />260.0 Other Contractuals $ 50,000.00 <br />TOTAL APPROPRIATION $ 50,000.00 <br />SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor. <br />1st READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />2nd READING /D — e%) / <br />\Oi_ APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED <br />Member of the rF n Council <br />Sip <br />� v,A'�, <br />
