BILL N0. 122 -79 <br />ORDINANCE NO.��,y-�r 2- <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $60,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL <br />ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINIS- <br />TERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT <br />OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In that additional funds are needed by the Department of Public <br />Works to ensure the Department's ability to properly perform <br />its function, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $60,000.00 is hereby appropriated from <br />the Federal Assistance Grant, commonly known as the General <br />Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be administer- <br />ed by the Department of Public Works and will be distributed <br />as set forth below: <br />PROGRAM FA 187 <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />260.0 Other Contractuals $ 60,000.00 <br />TOTAL FA 187 $ 60,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
