BILL N0. 122 -79 ORDINANCE NO.��,y-�r 2- AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $60,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMS TO BE ADMINIS- TERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: In that additional funds are needed by the Department of Public Works to ensure the Department's ability to properly perform its function, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The sum of $60,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Federal Assistance Grant, commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund. This appropriation is to be administer- ed by the Department of Public Works and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 187 ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 260.0 Other Contractuals $ 60,000.00 TOTAL FA 187 $ 60,000.00 SECTION II.
