Share <br />Our AC2® pressure treated lumber is grown, sawn and treated in the USA. It uses southern yellow pine from the southeastern US to provide optimum strength and appearance on <br />any outdoor project left exposed to the elements. Treated lumber is a renewable building product that's safe for use in any application, including those around pets, playsets, and <br />vegetable gardens. AC2® treated lumber can be painted or stained to match any existing project. Wood is a natural product with many unique characteristics and properties. While <br />wood's strength and workability make it great for general construction and building projects, other inherent characteristics make it subject to checks or splits and warping or <br />twisting. In addition, the actual size is almost always smaller than the nominal (common name) size and may vary slightly depending on the moisture content. <br />Features <br />#1 Prime grade southern yellow pine <br />Prefinished - Color infused with a rich color similar to coastal western cedar <br />Ground contact level treatment (.15 pcf) has more than double the preservative of above ground level treated wood (.07 pcf) <br />Wood is a sustainable product, making it environmentally friendly <br />Kiln dried and heat treated prior to pressure treatment <br />Triple-coated, hot-dipped galvanized, or stainless steel fasteners are recommended <br />MicroPro® limited warranty <br />Recommended color match is Pittsburgh Ultra Advanced Semi-Transparent Stain and Sealant Neutral Base (SKU 553-4627) mixed to Walnut #2029 <br />Actual size: dimensions at time of manufacture prior to pressure treatment.
