Hard Rock Casino >> Gary, IN <br />DLZ provided environmental, engineering, surveying, <br />wetland coordination, and construction field services <br />for the construction of a new Hard Rock Casino <br />in Gary, Indiana. As part of the design team, DLZ <br />provided plans to develop an approximately 50- <br />acre site with over 2,000 parking spaces located <br />immediately southwest of the 1-94/Burr Street <br />interchange. <br />DLZ developed preliminary grading plans and <br />final construction documents for the proposed <br />casino site. Specific design elements included: site <br />demolition/removals, grading, interior site access <br />roads, surface parking areas, curbing, sidewalks, <br />storm sewers, storm water basins, sanitary sewers, <br />potable water and fire protection, and coordination <br />of electrical and gas service to the proposed <br />building.
